Italian press agency ANSA reported that Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure has made a bill for Robert Kubica`s treatment for over 100 000 Euros. Pole was in this facility 76 days and had 4 surgeries. Costs will be covered by Kubica`s insurance company. Money is not, however, the major concern for Kubica, who is trying to regain full fitness of his hand. Currently he is resting at his home in Monaco.

Great news from Pietra Ligure. Doctors from Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure gave Robert Kubica permission to leave hospital. Pole`s condition is good enough that there isn`t any serious danger of infections. Longer hospitalization at this facility is not necessary. We don`t know yet how quickly Kubica will leave Italian clinic.
Yesterday ended a very interesting poll in which I asked are we properly informed about Robert Kubica`s health. Voting proceeded exactly in the week in which - ironically - we had a lot of news about Robert Kubica and his rehabilitation progress. How does this exceptionally high intensity of information affected on your voting? Probably didn`t have much impact. Below I present results:

Probably tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we can expect an official medical bulletin from Santa Corona hospital. I would like today to refer to the recent Gerard Lopez, Lotus Renault GP owner, statement who caused a little noise in Polish media.

Elbow - currently seems to be the biggest worry of Robert Kubica regarding his return onto Formula 1 track. As for all the remaining parts of the Pole's body, we know it will be possible to restore them to full or nearly 100% fitness. We still cannot say the same about elbow, but I think it is better than we all think ...

While Robert Kubica is having rehabilitation program on his legs and exercises on right hand and shoulder, the worldwide media are wondering whether the popularity of Formula 1 will fall down without him. After Kubica`s horribl accident in Ronde di Andora rally and sad vision of his absence in entire season of 2011, there were many voices that less people will watch F1 races, especially in Poland. Unfortunately there is some truth in that opinions but we should not judge it after first Grand Prix in Australia.
