Last weekend brought us many new, positive information about Robert Kubica`s condition and rehabilitation. We found out how his rehabilitation will look like in next months. Everyone who spoke about Robert insisted that his return to fitness is going properly, and predictions for the future are positive.

Robert Kubica's manager Daniele Morelli referred to the recent words of Gerard Lopez and said that Robert Kubica`s return to F1 in 2011 is still possible. Eric Boullier is also hoping that Pole will be able to come back later this season.
As it was announced, on website sokolimokiem.tv appear interview with Robert Kubica. Interview is very interesting, but ... from 2010 so before the Kubica`s accident in Ronde di Andora rally. Unfortunately journalists from this website unnecessarily raised expectations of most fans not telling about this fact. Below you can watch this interview in Polish. A year ago Robert Kubica excelent showed in the Monako Grand Prix, driving recklessly through the tight streets of Monte Carlo. In race he placed third and he was second in qualifying for it. Today, his absence will be very visible. To remind you how well it is possible to drive in Monaco, I present the video of the Robert`s qualifying lap in 2010.
Tomorrow at 9 am on www.sokolimokiem.tv we will be able to see a video with an interview with Robert Kubica. This will be the first time since the accident in Ronde di Andorra rally from 6 February, when we will can see Robert.
Robert Kubica's manager Daniele Morelli ruled out the participation of the Polish driver in Friday's practice sessions before the Formula 1 races in this season. Italian said that Kubica`s fitness will be checked in other series cars, but in Formula 1 Robert will drive for victories in races, not for testing.

Robert Kubica is currently undergoing rehabilitation in several Italian clinics. He is also often in his home in Monte Carlo, where he performs light exercises. Has Pole decided to stay in Monaco during the race weekend? Most of the signs suggest that he hasn`t.

Eric Boullier tried today to explain the recent words of Gerard Lopez about Robert Kubica`s comeback to F1 races this year. Frenchman said that Genii Capital owner words was taken out of context and misunderstood. Boullier said that the team is waiting the Kubica`s and it is fully prepared for it.

This weekend our dream may come true and we will able to see video interview with Robert Kubica. Probably on a Saturday or Sunday, in the premiere episode of the "Sokolim okiem" program by Mikołaj Sokół we will see first videos with Polish driver after his accident. Interview will be in Polish, but I will translate it for you as soon as possible.

Already on Thursday, Formula 1 drivers will appear in Monte Carlo to attend the most interesting and most famous race weekend of the season. It would be the home race for Robert Kubica, who lives in Monaco*. There are rumours that Pole may appear in the Formula 1 paddock during one of the racing days. But I don`t expect that to happen. Below I explain why.

Monday, 23.05: Lopez: Kubica will not return to F1 this season...but he can participate in friday free practice
Lotus Renault GP team owner Gerard Lopez said that it is not possible for Robert Kubica to return to Formula 1 in a racing driver role. Lopez, said also that no one knows how long will Kubica`s rehabilitation take. Even if he will recover full fitness and superlicence which allows to drive in F1, he will be able only to drive in one of Friday`s practices.

Sunday, 22.05: Lotus Renault GP will prepare a plan for Robert Kubica`s return in the middle of June
Lotus Renault GP boss Eric Boullier said that his team, together with Robert Kubica will prepare special plan for Robert Kubica`s comeback to F1, including test drives in other series cars. Pole is continuing his rehabilitation in Italian Formula Medicine clinic. In next week he will return to his home in Monte Carlo.
Very good news came to us from Italy, where Robert Kubica is undergoing rehabilitation in Riccardo Ceccarelli`s Formula Medicine clinic. As said Mikołaj Sokół - journalist and Kubica`s friend, Polish driver is already able to catch things with his right hand, which was almost cut off in an accident of February 6.

We are not often inform about the exact state of Robert Kubica`s health. There are no messages about this parts of his body which were damaged in the accident in Ronde di Andora rally on 6 February. Robert Kubica is slowly recovering, riding between his home in Monte Carlo and a few Italian clinics. Robert cannot begin full, strong arm exercises, until nerves in his hand will re-built. This process takes a long time, even in Kubica`s body. We all need to be patient, this process can not be accelerated.
The investigation of Robert Kubica`s accident is formally ended. We do not know, however, whether prosecutors have access to video from Pole`s car. Not even know if such a record exists. We only know that there was a video-camera in Skoda Fabia S2000.

It turns out that Robert Kubica passes his rehabilitation in several locations. In each of them he is working on different part of his body. Robert lives in his home in Monte Carlo, but he is travelling to a few clinics in Italy for rehabilitation. Francesco Lanza, who operated a Pole, said that his condition is steadily improving and rehabilitation runs according to the plan.

Robert Kubica and his doctor Riccardo Ceccarelli, well know how to restore quickly the efficiency of Pole`s hand. During rehabilitation in 2003 they showed real skills and determination, making Kubica`s break in racing shorter that anyone had expected. Robert used during this rehabilitation special equipment, which can be seen on his unique picture from 2003 shown below. Experiences from that recovery will also be useful now, however the Polish driver's injuries are several times worse.

After leaving Santa Corona hospital Robert Kubica went to his home in Monaco to rest for a few days. Now he is in medical facility of his doctor, Riccardo Ceccarelli. But we are not sure if it is a famous Formula Medicine, in which Robert (along with for example Jarno Trulli) have been preparing for F1 races. This clinic is located in Capezzano Pianore near Pisa in Italy.

Although Robert Kubica is just in the beginning of his path to recover efficiency of the right hand, a team of Lotus Renault GrP is ready to re-implement him into the role of a Formula 1 driver. Robert Kubica has rested at his home in Monaco for short time. Pole went to Riccardo Ceccarelli's clinic where he will continue rehabilitation of his right leg and hand. Lotus Renault driver is practising seven hours per day to return to racing a car as soon as possible. Today he had a small surgery during which doctors removed the unavoidable adhesions that are affecting the functionality of his forearm and elbow muscles.
After Robert Kubica's accident in Ronde di Andora, many people were asking why Pole decided to participate in rallies, risking his health. Today explained that WRC Champion, Sebastien Loeb. The Frenchman said that he is not surprised by Lotus Renault GP driver decision saying that rallies are completely different challenge for the drivers than F1.

According to the latest, unofficial information, Robert Kubica is able to fully clench his right fist. This is the result of Pole`s hard trainings at his home in Monaco where he is exercising for 6-7 hours per day. Despite the positive effects of his rehabilitation it is still unknown whether he will be able to return to racing in Formula 1. More we will know in mid-June.

According to earlier information from a few weeks ago, prosecutors from Savona, leading an investigation of Robert Kubica`s accident in Ronde di Andorra rally, will request for remission of the investigation. According to their opinion nobody is directly guilty of this accident from February 6. Even Robert Kubica didn`t wanted to punish anyone. Pole is resting now in his home in Monaco, making some light exercises of his hand.
